Midnight, almost. Everywhere's dark and boiling hot. In front of train station people sleep on blankets, play cards to somehow wait it out. My train's in 20 minutes, fast train to one of the cities. In theory it's fast, in practice trip still takes 8 hours. Pricewise, cheaper than sleeptrain, only 300rmb for second class while in sleeping one 440 for first. I don't know prices for second, I wasn't even able to look at the tickets, they disappeared so fast.

After my recent blogger katharsis, I learn how to write anew. I emptied drafts, I emptied mind, I took a break, I can start again. I'm learning from others, reading forementioned Sebo (like relation from North Korea) or Filip (amazing Chinese Patrol, dude is driving around whole China on his tiny Chinese motorbike)

Furthermore Sebo was visited by someone, someone cool, someone you miss (hi someones). They showed us, me, what keeps people in Beijing, what is it here that despite AQI 300+, cab drivers trying to hit you on your green light, police guys "200rmb each one and you're free", guys with stick and guys with keys to your scooter, there are still many things worth mentioning, even in broken English style.

Anyway, today more directly slash touristic, closed steel factory.

Couple of days ago Sebo lost his key. Luckily, being smart, he has done what most of us have done and gave copy to one of the friends - which, in this case, was humble me.

Unluckily, when he asked me about it, I learned that I also lost his key... Well..

Post is from around 20th July, 2012, Friday (the big-ass storm in Beijing, you remember swimming to bus?). Apparently, at 呼家搂,  Tuanjiehu subway station, some thief got caught and decided to take one of "security" *cough* girls there as a hostage. Why, what for, noone knew and storm-news-day occupied everyone.

Anyway, police tried negotiations with him for around 2 hours, the guy didn't want to cooperate tho. In the meantime police called local swat team.

The Rambo guys didn't mess around, just set up snipers and shoot the kidnapper.

So in case one day you decide to follow the Dark Path, never take a hostage.

Cleaning up my page I found this blog. Oh, seems I kind of neglected the existence of other-than-Polish blog :o.

Since it's a new year, both normal and Chinese, let's try to do it! For now I'll just practice writing in english by translating some of Polish posts (skipping the ones that may got me kicked out of China :p), next, maybe something mooooar? Here we go again! Eh, my English sense of humour is a little rusty, oh gosh.

After long and exhausting discussion I had with myself ("should I? yes") I decided to change this blog a little bit. The idea here was to write about China in English, but now I write most of the stuff in Polish, making this one a bit... dead ;). So, to make it active again (I don't want to waste this amazing template I found!) I will change it from China-like stuff to general rambling in English or other languages :)

What follow is that I changed the url, unfortunately, it also killed old addresses. Damn. Something for something.

Let's see how it works :)
