Post is from around 20th July, 2012, Friday (the big-ass storm in Beijing, you remember swimming to bus?). Apparently, at 呼家搂,  Tuanjiehu subway station, some thief got caught and decided to take one of "security" *cough* girls there as a hostage. Why, what for, noone knew and storm-news-day occupied everyone.

Anyway, police tried negotiations with him for around 2 hours, the guy didn't want to cooperate tho. In the meantime police called local swat team.

Huh? I've noticed that you can see lots of apartments with grating outside their windows and I assume that's because of the thieves. Ok, you can see that solution in every country. But what the hell? That crate is on ~7th floor, and building has like 15 of them. Are local thieves bitten by spider and they can walk on walls? I still don't know. Only couple of windows had those gratings. I'm gonna ask guys in the office - maybe they can solve this mystery :)
